VIOD’s mission is to promote the improvement of corporate governance quality and standards through training, coaching, and assessing corporate governance practices in compliance with legal requirements, international standards
VIOD’s activities focus on professionalizing Boards of Directors (BODs) and promoting high standards of transparency and business ethics. At the same time, VIOD builds and develops a network of corporate governance practitioners, including board members, governance officers and secretaries, as well as consultants from advisory firms within the corporate governance ecosystem.

VIOD là định chế tiên phong và chuyên nghiệp về Quản trị Công ty và phát triển bền vững tại Việt Nam.
Sáng kiến Quản trị Công ty Việt Nam (VCGI) hình thành với sự hỗ trợ của Tổ chức Tài chính quốc tế (IFC) phối hợp Sở Giao dịch Chứng khoán Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh (HOSE) và Hà Nội (HNX) cùng sự hỗ trợ của Ủy ban Chứng khoán Nhà nước (SSC).
VCGI thành lập Viện Thành viên Hội đông quản trị Việt Nam (VIOD) với sự hỗ trợ kỹ thuật của IFC và Cục Kinh tế Liên bang Thụy Sĩ (SECO).
Từ năm 2018-2021, phạm vi phủ sóng của VIOD ngày càng phát triển nhanh chóng trong cộng đồng và mạng lưới quan hệ đối tác với sự ra đời của Chương trình thành viên Doanh nghiệp (CMP)
Chính thức là Thành viên của GNDI - Đại diện Việt Nam trong mạng lưới các Viện Thành viên Hội đồng Quản trị toàn cầu. Ra mắt Chương trình thành viên Cá nhân (IMP)

(IMP)
The IMP Board Member Network is a pioneering and exclusive initiative designed to inspire, share knowledge, and connect board members (BODs) as well as practicing corporate governance (CG) professionals in Vietnam.
The main purpose of the network is to foster professional development, promote the practice of corporate governance (CG) according to best practices, contribute to the sustainable development of listed companies, and enhance corporate governance practices, thereby improving the ranking of the Vietnamese stock market.
